Mystic Frontier Familiar Catalog

Browse 64 Sacred Symbol region and Roro familiar records. The same structured catalog powers these filters, the Deck Builder, and the Deck Optimizer.

Shared familiar data

One catalog across every deck tool

Each catalog entry includes the fields used by the filters and deck tools: name, level, region, element, monster type, and image reference.

The same 64 records power this page, the Deck Builder, and the Deck Optimizer. That keeps filters and recommendations consistent when you move between tools.

Use the distribution summary below to identify common attribute groups, scarce coverage options, and flexible third-card candidates before opening the interactive filters.

Match element and type

Show familiars matching any selected element or type. Name search always narrows these results.

What the current attribute distribution means for deck building

The catalog is not evenly distributed. That matters because a condition that is easy to complete with Human or Dark familiars can be much harder with Reptile, Fairy, or Holy cards. The counts below are calculated from the same records shown in the filterable list.

Dense same-type pool

Human is the largest type group with 22records. It offers many ways to preserve an all-Human condition while changing element or region.

Dense element pool

Dark is the largest element group with 15records. The catalog includes a particularly reusable Dark and Devil cluster in Carcion.

Scarce coverage

Reptile has 3 records, Fairy has 4, and Holy has 4. Treat those cards as coverage pieces instead of assuming every attribute has a large interchangeable pool.

Example: choosing for a same-condition core

Priest of the Source, Knight of the Source, Abyssal Hunter, Abyssal Guard, and Despairing Guard all share the Dark/Devil pair. That makes the group useful when a selected potential needs all three cards to preserve the same element or the same type. The important advantage is interchangeability: one card can change while the deck keeps both conditions available.

Example: planning an all-different lineup

Start by checking the attributes already occupied by the first two cards. The third card must add a new element for an all-different-element condition and a new type for an all-different-type condition. Use the filters to create that shortlist, then run it through the Deck Optimizer to compare the potential effects that remain active.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many familiars are in this catalog?

The current verified dataset contains 64 familiar records from Sacred Symbol regions and Mystic Frontier Champions:

  • Cernium (Before): Lv.260-261 monsters
  • Cernium (After): Lv.262-264 monsters
  • Hotel Arcus: Lv.265-269 monsters
  • Odium: Lv.270-274 monsters
  • Shangri-La: Lv.275-279 monsters
  • Arteria: Lv.280-284 monsters
  • Carcion: Lv.285-289 monsters
  • Tallahart: Lv.290-294 monsters
  • Champions Reward: seven Roro cards

What are the element types in Mystic Frontier?

There are 7 element types in Mystic Frontier:

  • Fire - Associated with burning and heat
  • Ice - Associated with cold and freezing
  • Lightning - Associated with electricity
  • Poison - Associated with toxins
  • Holy - Associated with divine power
  • Dark - Associated with shadow
  • None - No elemental affinity

Element matching between familiars can activate certain potential bonuses like "All Same Element" or "All Different Element" conditions.

What are the monster types in Mystic Frontier?

There are 9 monster types in Mystic Frontier:

  • Beast - Animal-like creatures
  • Human - Humanoid enemies
  • Plant - Plant-like creatures
  • Aquatic - Water-dwelling creatures
  • Devil - Demonic creatures
  • Machine - Mechanical enemies
  • Undead - Reanimated creatures
  • Reptile - Reptilian monsters
  • Fairy - Magical creatures

Type matching can trigger specific potential effects. For example, "All Same Type" conditions give bonuses when all 3 familiars share the same monster type.

How do I get Mystic Frontier familiars?

Most Familiars are obtained by hunting monsters in the corresponding Grandis regions. Each monster has a chance to drop its familiar card. The seven Roro cards are instead obtained through Mystic Frontier Champions.

Region level does not by itself determine the potential tier in this catalog. Choose a farming target for the element/type coverage you need, then evaluate the actual card instance and its potential in game.

What determines a familiar's tier?

Familiar tiers in Mystic Frontier are determined by the potential line you assign to them, not the familiar itself. Any familiar can have any tier potential from Common to Legendary.

The tier affects the dice range: Common (d3), Rare (d4), Epic (d5), Unique (d6), and Legendary (d6). Higher tier potentials also have stronger bonus values.
